WHO MAY RESERVE BLANDY FACILTIES
The purpose of the University of Virginia's Blandy Experimental Farm is to increase understanding of the natural environment through research and education.
Principal users of facilities at Blandy Experimental Farm are groups from the University of Virginia, Blandy Experimental Farm, the Foundation of the State Arboretum, Virginia Native Plant Society, and other partner organizations. Government agencies are encouraged to use Blandy facilities. Other non-profit organizations with a horticulture, natural history, or environmental education focus may submit an application for facility use. Reservation forms must be signed and arrangements for use must be completed no later than a week in advance of an event. The Director and the Field Station Manager reserve the right to deny use of the facilities or, in special cases, make exception to the facility use policy as outlined.
Blandy Experimental Farm complies with UVA's efforts to eliminate single use plastics. Users must not bring single use plastic and polystyrene food containers, disposable plastic straws and cutlery, disposable plastic bags, or single use plastic water bottles to Blandy. Meeting rooms and are equipped water coolers. Refilling of BYO reusable water bottles is encouraged, as is use of reusable or compostable cutlery.
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
First, please read Policies Governing Use of Blandy Facilities. Reservations must be made by submitting our online reservation form below. Once the completed form has been received and fees paid, the reservations will be confirmed by the Facilities Use Coordinator.
