Bring Your Horse and See the Arboretum on Horseback!
The Bridle Trail provides a unique way to enjoy the Arboretum grounds. Approximately 7 miles long, the Bridle Trail traverses farm fields, mature woodlots, and skirts a small wetland area.

A signed liability waiver is required for each rider. Place liability forms in the marked box at the kiosk in the Paddock. Riders under age 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Bridle Trail Guidelines
- Rides should start at the Paddock (see map)
- Be A Considerate Conservationist.
- Respect the Arboretum Collection.
- Avoid Research Areas.
- Stay on the Bridle Trail.
- No Bicycles or Unauthorized Vehicles.
- All dogs must remain on leash.
- Enjoy your ride!
This trail was designed, constructed, and is maintained by volunteers with the Foundation of the State Arboretum. As the Equestrian Committee is required to be self supporting, your donations are essential to defray costs for maintenance, signage, brochures, and other expenses. Suggested donation per ride: $5 adults, $2 under 10. The donation box is located at the kiosk in the paddock.
