With your help we will raise $100,000 to safeguard the future of Blandy, the State Arboretum of Virginia.

In 2026-2027, Blandy Experimental Farm and the State Arboretum of Virginia mark 100 years of discovery, conservation, and community connection.

For 100 years, Blandy has been a place where scientists advance ecological research; students and families connect with nature; gardeners and conservationists learn from extraordinary tree collections; and communities gather for beloved traditions such as Garden Fair and the Ginkgo Gold Festival.

As we celebrate this milestone, the Foundation of the State Arboretum will raise $100,000 in unrestricted support to help safeguard the future of Blandy. Unrestricted endowment funds from the Centennial Campaign will:

Maintain and enhance the arboretum’s living collections
Support environmental research and student learning
Expand community programs and public engagement
Ensure Blandy remains a thriving place of discovery and connection for the next century
