Frederick County 4th grade Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience. Students investigate a wetland habitat to discover wetland organisms and their adaptations.

Where does water come from and where does it go? Students use a movement based- game to understand their local watershed.

Building models of watersheds. Students predict how water will flow, then test their predictions!

Students ask questions and make inferences: How does our use of the land affect the watershed?

Students test how water flows over bare soil and over native plants. They collect data and compare their results.
