Milkweeds are in bloom in various meadows and grasslands throughout Blandy. Visit the large patches in the Native Plant Trail meadow and see the wide variety of pollinators that visit these unique flowers!

Various species of blackberriesare showing in June. They flower between late May and early June and the berries ripen throughout the month. Find lots of blackberries in the Native Plant Trail meadow and in hedgrows and open areas throughout Blandy.

Rattlesnake Master and other early summer wildflowers can be found blooming in the pollination garden. This area can often be found humming with bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds starting this month and continuing throughout the summer.

Prickly Pear

Prickly Pear cacti can be found blooming along the various rock breaks throughout Blandy. There is a particularly large collection of this gorgeous native cactus near the rock breaks by Lake Georgette.

Towards the end of the month, Silky dogwood trees, elderberries, and other wetland shrubs can be found blooming in the Native Plant Trail wetland.
