Seed Exchange and Plant Swap
FOSA Volunteers and Virginia Master Gardeners save, sort, and label seeds to trade or give away at the annual seed exchange. You are welcome to come with or without bringing seeds, roots, cuttings, or plants to trade. We'll also exchange garden-related books and magazines.

Garden Fair - Mother's Day Weekend - May 8 & 9, 2021

Garden Fair is a huge plant and garden supply sale, with dozens of vendors of high-quality plants including annuals, perennials, small trees, shrubs, boxwood, bonsai, and more. The Foundation usually sells a selection of plants divided or propagated from the Arboretum collection. Garden Fair is held every Mother’s Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine. In addition to the plant sale, free events include Arboretum tours, native plant walks, and activities for kids.
