Blandy Director David Carr Honored with Distinguished Scholars Award

UVA’s Office of Engagement selects five recipients for 2022-23

Each year, the University of Virginia’s Office of Engagement hosts a Distinguished Scholars Award Reception to express appreciation to all the faculty who volunteer their time throughout the year. For 2022-23, the Office selected five Distinguished Scholars and our very own David Carr, Director of Blandy Experimental Farm, is among the group. Congratulations to David for a well-deserved honor!

“This recognition is really for so many of the Blandy staff who have contributed in huge ways to all the high-quality experiences that Blandy has provided for UVA’s Lifetime Learning these past few years,” says Carr. “We hope to continue to work with Lifetime Learning on many new projects.”
