Sold out talk features boxwood expert!
Lynn Batdorf, retired Curator for the National Boxwood Collection at the U.S. National Arboretum and author of numerous authoritative texts on boxwoods, will be giving a talk in the Blandy library from 10:30-12:00 Saturday, February 4th. Proceeds will go towards the care and maintenance of the arboretum's boxwood collection. This talk is sold out!

Announcement- Thursday Cool Conifers program rescheduled due to weather.
The Cool Conifers public program originally scheduled for today (Thursday) has been rescheduled for the assigned “inclement weather date” of Friday, December 16th from 2:00-3:00.

REU Students Recognized with Callahan Awards
Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) students Lindsey Monteith and Skye Austin were recognized with Tom Callahan Undergraduate Research Awards. The students presented their research findings in August after spending eight weeks working with faculty mentors in this summer's program.
Blandy's Surprising Pawpaw Connection
Blandy has a suprising connection to pawpaw royalty. The pawpaw (Asima triloba) produces the largest edible fruit native to North America.
